CaddyBytes 🏆 2026 Mitsubishi Electric Classic Final Round Highlights: The final round at TPC Sugarloaf delivered a fast-moving finish under the modified Stableford scoring format, where eagles and birdies created big leaderboard swings throughout the day. Ernie Els opened the highlights with sharp iron play, knocking another approach close to set up back-to-back birdies and keep pressure on the leaders.

The round was packed with aggressive scoring chances. Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Jerry Kelly, David Duval, Ben Crane, Tommy Gainey, and Thongchai Jaidee all appeared in key moments as players attacked pins, chased eagle points, and tried to make late moves. Duval produced one of the day’s biggest roars with an eagle at the drivable 13th, while Gainey walked in another eagle putt to vault up the standings.

Retief Goosen remained steady when it mattered most. After giving himself a strong birdie chance late, Goosen came to the final hole with the tournament still in reach. He handled the closing pressure, rolled in the winning birdie putt at 18, and finished the Mitsubishi Electric Classic as the champion after a dramatic final-round push.
